Golden Mile Food Centre: Cheap, local eats.
Golden Mile Complex: "Little Thailand" + indie cinema on top floor - The Projector.
Kampong Glam: Malay Heritage District. A lot of overpriced Lebanese/Turkish food around here (don't recommend) unless absolute cravings.
Haji Lane: Cool street with local designer stuff + cafes etc.
Arab Street: Similar to Haji Lane but less cool and more textiles (?) shops. Go if you want to buy carpets?
Parkview Square: Interesting building. Go inside (lobby) for Atlas bar (famous for its decor, I think).
DUO: One of the newer buildings. Not much (shops/offices) but nice building.
Bugis Junction: Okay mall, can be crowded.
Bugis+: Ramen Champion on level 4 housing a couple of good ramen under one roof.
LaSalle: Interesting building. Art/Design school (not mine though).
Chijmes: Converted from an old convent into housing lots of cool restaurants/bars etc.
South Beach: Interesting newer building/hotel/mall everything together.
Suntec City/Fountain of Wealth: Collective of malls surround this gigantic fountain.
Mustafa: Located in Little India, go if you have energy/time to explore Little India + Mustafa Centre (24-hours sells-everything-kind-of-store).
